| Uses | Ce médicament est indiqué pour réduire la pression artérielle élevée (hypertension) chez l’adulte. L’indapamide est un diurétique. La plupart des diurétiques augmentent la quantité d’urine produite par les reins. Toutefois, l’indapamide est différent des autres diurétiques car il n’entraîne qu’une légère augmentation de la quantité d’urine produite. De plus, l'indapamide dilate les vaisseaux sanguins, ce qui permet au sang de circuler plus facilement. Cela contribue à diminuer la tension artérielle. |
